Objectives:
The customer performs full body scan using a Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging machine. The customer needed a HIPPA compliant solution that gave them the ability to securely transfer PET images from the imaging facility to the Radiologist located at another facility. The customer also needed the ability to allow the doctor to transmit images to the imaging facility.

What Makes it Unique:
E-Mail is not HIPPA compliant unless the email is encrypted or the transmission occurs over a VPN. When the VPN was established the users on both ends were able to do a DCOM transfer or and FTP transfer from one computer to another computer using existing DSL lines.
