What Makes it Unique:
Unique Computing Solutions (UCS) performs the system backups remotely using VPN technology and Microsoft Terminal Server in administrative mode. Each morning the previous day’s backup is remotely checked by UCS technical staff to see if the job completed normally. If the backup job fails for any reason, UCS technical staff troubleshoots and corrects the problem.The client´s only responsibility is to swap tapes in the tape drive each day. Once a week, typically on Monday mornings, a messenger service picks-up fresh tapes at UCS’s office, drops the fresh tapes off at the client site, picks up the previous weeks tape at the client and drops them back off at UCS office.
